Comstock book gives year of birth as 1879 - from the 1880 census. Son George stated to Mary Jane Comstock that he was born in 1876. 1910 Census says Jun 1877. The 1920 census indicates he was born in 1877.

Wash Haggard of Uniontown, Crawford, AR was 41, born 22 Jun 1877. He was a Clerk at Comstock Wood Mercantile in Uniontown. His nearest relative was Olia Haggard. Signed: Wash Haggard. He was of medium height, slender build, blue eyes, brown hair.
Found in Crawford County 1920 Census. Occupation was "Dry Goods"; born in Arkansas; no place of birth for parents.
Buried in Uniontown Cemetery. Listed as G. W. "Wash" Haggard. The Arkansas Death Index transcription gives his date of death as 7 Sep 1928 instead of 8 Aug 1927. This isn't the only discrepancy I've found in this Index and wonder as to its accuracy.
