John R. Wishard, who lives near Bono, Helt Township, died on Tuesday morning of last week, aged 67 years. The deceased was born in Kentucky in 1808, and emigrated to this county in 1853. He was a sober, temperate, and industrious farmer, and a consistent member of the M.E. Church. A very large and sympathizing congregation attended the funeral service last Wednesday. The sermon was preached at the M.E. Church. After the sermon many weeping friends took a last look at the deceased, when the body was taken in charge by the Centre Grange Lodge and borne by his brethren to its final resting place in the new Cemetery, one half mile west of Bono.
