Caskey, 86, widow of Charles Samuel Caskey Sr., died Monday at a local hospital. She was born in Chester County, a daughter of the late George W. and Sally Drennan Kirkpatrick. She was a retired elementary school teacher. Surviving are five daughters; Mrs. Harry B. (Sarah) Baker and Mrs. Jack (Carolyn) Mahaffey of Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Cecil W. (Kathryn) Mosteller of Oakton, Va., and Mrs. M. Poovey (Margaret) Beckham and Mrs. M. Cecil (Betty) Adams of Lancaster; a son, Charles S. Caskey Jr. of Lancaster; two sisters, Mrs Maude Carter of Cherryville, N. C., and Mrs. Sudie McKelvey of Easley; three brothers, Gaither Kirkpatrick of Fort Mill, Haskell Kirkpatrick of Great Falls and Neely Kirkpatrick of Fort Lawn; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. today at New Hope Baptist Church. Mahaffey Funeral Home is in charge.
