He was a retired employee of Duke Power Co. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Maurice K. Kirkpatrick; a son, W. G. Kirkpatrick, Jr. of Lake Wylie; two brothers, H. M. Kirkpatrick of Great Falls and H. A. Kirkpatrick of Fort Lawn; two sisters, Mrs. T. A. Carter of Cherryville, N. C., and Mrs. B. B. McKelvey of Easley; and two grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. John's United Methodist Church, with burial in Unity Cemetery. Wolfe Funeral Home is in charge.
