Heffron age 87, of Madison died on Wednesday February 20, 1985 at a local nursing home. She was Born August 24, 1897 in Rewey, Wisconsin. She married her husband Homer on November 17, 1921 at her family home near Rewey. She has been a member of the Bashford United Methodist Church, its Sara Circle, ABC Fellowship and its United Methodist Women. Also, she had been a member of the Governor Nelson Dewey Chapter of the DAR, the Eastern Star, the World War I Barracks Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughter, Ramona, and son-in-law Alan Eberhart of Madison; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer L. in 1982; an infant son, Martin Leroy; her parents; four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held in Bashford United Methodist Church, 329 North Street, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 1985 with the Reverend Robert Paulson officiating. Burial will be in the Washburn Cemetery in Arthur (Grand County) Wisconsin. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 1985 at the Gunderson Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive.
