Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Monday, February 25, 1952, Page 7, Col. 6: Lorene N. Romine Died Early Today; Ill 10 Days. Mrs. Lorene N. Romine, 57-year-old wife of John Romine, died at 12:25 this morning at the Lucy Lee Hospital following a 10 day illness. She resided at 1900 Alice Street. She had been a resident of Poplar Bluff all her life. She was born August 24, 1914 and on July 29, 1932 she was married to John Romine of this city. Surviving are the husband, three sons, John Leroy, Basil Allen and Carl Frankie; two brothers, Basil Todd, Venice, Ill., and Walter J. Todd of Wappapello and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Talcott, Madison, Ill., Mrs. Frank Collins, Ellsinore, and Mrs. Artie Bilbrey of Poplar Bluff. The body was taken to the Frank-Cotrell Chapel where funeral services will be conducted at 2 Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be in the Greenhill Cemetery.
