OBITUARY: EMMETT CAVERotan-Emmett Cave, 84, of Rotan, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday in Fisher County Hospital. Services will be he at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Billy Hudnall, former pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Rotan Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Born March 6, 1893, in Fisher County, Mr. Cave had be a lifetime resident of Fisher County. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Cave. He married Callie Moulton Feb 1, 1912, in Dickens City, she preceded him in death July 23, 1969. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and rancher.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Nelson Smith of Rotan, and Mrs. Harold Cheek of Dallas; a son O.B. Cave of Grandbury; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Haldean Cave, Bob Cave, Ted Cave, James Cave, Buck Cave, and John Taylor.
