OBITUARY
LINDA CAVE SMITH
ARLINGTON - Linda Cave Smith, 89, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, in Arlington.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Friday in Arlington Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: at a later date in Rotan. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Arlington Funeral Home.
MEMORIALS: Vitas Hospic or American Cancer Society.
Linda married Nelson Smith on March 27, 1937, in Rotan, where they farmed and ranched until 1998, when they moved to the Fox Run Estates Retirement Residence in Arlington. They were lifelong members of Fisrt Baptist Church of Rotan.
Survivors: Husband of 66 years Nelson Smith; son Gary Smith and wife, Jane, of Bedford; daughter, Linda Pempsell and husband, Austin, of Arlington; sister and brother-in-law Ann Lou and Dr. J. Harold Cheek of Tyler; grandchildren, Stacy Sims and husband Mike, Laurie Fry Freedenfeld and husband, Robert, and Dr. Jeffrey Smith and wife Susan; and great-grandchildern, Anna Freedenfeld, Aaron Freedenfeld, Caleb Sims, Jared Smith and Isabel Smith.
