Fisher Pioneer, Dallas Cave Dies,
Rotan, Sept 2 - Dallas Cave 74 of Hamlin died at midnight Friday in Calian hospital where he had been for 523 days. Funeral will be Sunday in the Hamlin Methodist church. Burial will be in Hamlin East Cemetery
Mr Cave came to Fisher County in 1884 and has since been engaged in ranching in this area. His father has come in 1883 to establish a ranch south of Roby on the Brazos river. At that time there ere only four other families in the county. The senor Mr cave was a trail driver and the original ranch is still operated by the E. C Cave eldest son
The late Mr Cave was married in 1835 to Lupi Henton in Sweetwater. She died in 1919
Surviving him are one daughter Mrs Tome Holman of Hamlin one son Bill Cave of Hobbs, N M, three granddaughter.
