Death
Mr. Cave was county commisioner of Prec 4 for the past 20 years. He was born June 12, 1888 iin Sardis Community in Fisher County in 1877, comiing out in a covered wagon.The Caves settled a mile north of the present town of Wingate in the fall of 1877 and lived there for two years before going to Sweetwater in 1881.
The late H D Cave built the first permanent residence in Sweetwater and in 1883 moved on land he had bought in Fisher County
Mr Cave was married Feb 17, 1920 to Ruby Dennis, daughter of a peoneer Kent Family.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Ted of the home and Haldean, Kent Counnty rancher, and Bobby, Dimmitt rancher; one daughter, Mrs Abner Aaron of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. W W Barron of Rotan and one brother Emmett, a Rotsan rancher.
