This family farmed in New Canaan NB. Jason was a widower by 1901. Besides farming at New Canaan, Jason conducted a lumber business at Cody's NB, retiring in 1925. In his later years he moved to Petitcodiac to live with his son. His obituary added, "For the past two years he has been a semi-invalid. His wife passed away 56 years ago." He founded a lumber company that lasted about 100 years through three generations - from Jason, to son Noble, to grandson Ralfe. [Corey Book]
