In his earlier days, Donald worked for his brother Blois as an industrial cook. He joined the Canadian Army in WWII, and after the war worked for J.D, Irving on the tugs as an industrial cook in Saint John. He retired to Hampstead NB. He did not marry. [Corey Book]
