CHARLES HADDON SPURGEON COREY
(26 Jul 1869 - 24 Aug 1945)
He lived on Campobello Island NB for most of his married life, where he and Elizabeth kept the Head Harbour lighthouse. Later he had his own weir, and fishiing then became his main occupation. Later still he became a pipe fitter, and in 1943-44 he did the plumbing in the school being built on Campobello Island. He also served as Road Commissioner. [Corey Book]
