IRA THOMAS COREY

(3 Mar 1877 - 14 Mar 1957)

Ira was a farmer and lumber contractor for most of his life. He took over his father's farm when Alfred retired, and later purchased a larger farm in East Knowlesville. He died in 1957 at Richmond Corner NB, in the home of his son, Robert.

Both Ira and Nellie had been previously married. By his first wife, Ira had a daughter, Erma Corey, who married Allison Shaw, and both they and some of their large family appear in photos included in this genealogy. By her first marriage, Nellie had a son, Murray Kenney, who also appears in the photos. [Corey Book]
