JAMES COREY

Descendants of William Corey pencil in a son, James, and with little information to go on, place him after Malcolm, with a birth date of c1845. There does indeed appear to have been such a person, though the date is wrong. The Queensbury Parish census for 1901 shows a James Corey living with James Everett Corey, his age given as 74, the date of birth given at 7 Nov 1826, a labourer, retired. If this is William's son, he would have been James Everett's uncle, which would make his presence in the household understandable. As this James Corey fits nowhere else, he is listed here as that son of William. There is no indication of any family. [Corey Book]
