His family mo ved to Indiana when Charlie, as we know him, was a boy about 5. Mos t of his boyhood was spent near Jordan Vill age. When a young man h e united with the Millgrove Church where he has remaine d a faithful m ember. Charles will always be remembered by friends and neighbor s fo r his sense of humor and jovial spirit. In 1899 he has united in marr iage to Tressie McCullough and to this union were born two sons, Roy o f Detroit, Mic higan and Juel of Quincy. Charlie spent most of his li fe as a farmer and carpe nter. He is survived by the widow and two so ns; the daughter-in-laws, Harriet and Mae; three sisters, Mrs. Ernes t Mugg of Greencastle, Mrs. Haskell Smith of Summit, Arkansas, and Mrs . Alice Davis of Quincy; and a brother, Bert of Indian apolis; als o a number of nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and f r iends who will certainly miss "Charlie". The clock of Life is wound b ut once, and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will sto p, at late or ear ly hour. Now is the only time you own. LIVE, LOVE , TOIL with a will.
