BURIAL WITH FAMILY
At the Enon Cemetery in Ackerman, Mississippi, Eli Snow and wife Sarah (Sally) Ayres are buried next to Obediah Childress, Sr. and wife Selah (Celia) Ayres. Her tombstone reads: "In Memory of Selah Childress, Died November 3, 1867. Aged 73 yrs 7 mos. and 27 days. She was a Pious member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church." In this area of the Enon Cemetery rests Rachel McFadden Ayres, Selah's mother.
