The death of Mrs. Letishey Feeney, widow of John Feeney occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Geagan, 27 Pearl street, Tuesday night, at the age of 72 years. She was born in Houlton but has lived in Bangor since a young child. Besides Mrs. Geagan she leaves four daughters and a son, Mrs. John Frazier, Mrs. William Decker, Mrs. William Clark and Edward C. Feeney of Bangor and Mrs. Thomas Quinn of Charlestown, Mass.; also two sisters, Mrs. John Shea and Mrs. Thomas Wakeley of Bangor, 14 grandchildren and five great greandchildren. She had been a devout communicant of St. John's church for nearly all her life and was widely known and beloved by many friends for her kind and sympathetic disposition and fine character. She will be greatly missed and mourned by a wide circle of acquaintances. The time of the funeral will be announced.Funeral Notice
The funeral services of Mrs. Letitia Feeney were held Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at St. John's Catholic church, Rev. Father Keogh officiated. The bearers were John Fraser, John Welch, John Geoghan, William Clark, and John McCarthy. The interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.Endnotes
