The wedding of Miss Catherine Feeney and John W. Geagan took place at 8 o'clock Wednesday morning in St. John's Catholic church, Rev. Father Driscoll being the officiating clergyman. The bride was beautifully gowned in a brown traveling suit and hat to match and carried white chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid, Miss Mary T. Sweeney, cousin of the bride was gowned in brown and carried pink chrysanthemums. The groomsman was Edward Feeney, brother of the bride. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's mother, 27 Pearl street. Both Mr. and Mrs. Geagan are of this city and received many beautiful presents. Mr. Geagan for a number of years has been employed by the Eastern Steamship Co. Mr. and Mrs. Geagan left in the 11 o'clock boat for Boston where they will make their future home.Obituary
Mrs. Catherine (Feeney) Geagan, a native of Bangor, died at her home, 24 Tainter Street, Medford, Mass., last Tuesday. A Solemn High Mass of Requiem was sung in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Medford, Thursday morning, with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery there. Mrs. Geagan was the wife of the late John Geagan and a sister of Edward Feeney of Brewer.Endnotes
