Obituary
LITTLETON - Chester L. Adams, 83, died July 10, 1986, in Houlton. He was born in Littleton, March 8, 1903, the son of John M. and Ethel (Faulkner) Adams. He was a lifelong resident of Littleton. He attended the Military Street Baptist Church in Houlton. He was a member IOOF Lodge No. 78 and Portia Rebekah Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Elva B. (Smith) Adams of Littleton; one son, Donald S. Adams of Bangor; one daughter, Phyllis B. Peters of Hampden; one sister, Rena Lucy of Melrose, Mass.; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home, 7-9 p.m. Saturday. The IOOF Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home, 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Foster Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Houlton. Those who wish may make donations in his memory to the charity of their choice.Endnotes
