Obituary
The death of Mary E., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. McCarthy, occurred at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Fred Lowell on Wednesday afternoon after a long illness. Miss McCarthy was a well known nurse, a graduate of Paine hospital, also a graduate of Bangor High School, class of 1921. Of a sunny and cheerful disposition, she was a great favorite with her many friends. Her age aws [sic] 24 years. Besides her parents, she is survived by two brothers, William J., of Washington, D. C., and John E., of Bangor. The remains are at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Lowell, 245 Hammond street. The time of the funeral will be announced.Endnotes
