Nathaniel Worden

On June 5, 1707, the family joined the Congregational church in Little Compton, Rhode Island and Nathaniel, Margaret and two of their children were baptized.
On September 10, 1708 Nathaniel purchased land from his father and moved from Little Compton, Rhode Island to Stonington, Connecticut.
On February 9, 1709 Nathaniel's father gave him 30 acres in Stonington. On March 4, 1709 he sold that land to his brother-in-law Richard Partelow.
On December 21, 1718 he is admitted to the Congregational Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This is the first record in which he is referred to as Doctor.
On November 3, 1720 he made the first of many land purchases in Greenwich, Connecticut.
He wrote his will August 30, 1737 and it was proved in 1741 in Greenwich.
