Dexter Angell

(February 15, 1794 - August 13, 1854)

Dexter Angell was born in New York and by 1820 he was in Vigo, Indiana where he married Clementina Benight in 1820. Dexter may not have stayed with Clementina and their children because in 1830 he was in Rhode Island and doesn't appear in Indiana again. After Clementina's death, or before he married Betsy Gazley, Dexter wrote a will and left his estate to 2nd wife Betsy and his 3 children with Clementina and 1 son with Betsy.
