Hope Angell 8th great uncle of Elizabeth Speedy who married Stanley Roose. Hope was the youngest son of Thomas and Alice Ashton Angell. Hope was born in 1685 in Providence Rhode Island, 13 years after it was founded. Hope died at 38, he stayed single. He was the first 'Hope' in his family and the name was carried on for generations.
