James Angell was born in Providence 1651 to Thomas and Alice Ashton Angell. He married Abigail Dexter, daughter of printer Gregory Dexter. James Angell was executor of his mom's will. Maybe his wife Abigail pleaded for fairness (the right to vote?) at a town meeting June ye 6th, 1681, needs more research.
