In the 1860 (indexed Bowlander), 1870 and 1880 Census, Sally and her family are living in Mud Springs, El Dorado County, California.
In the 1900 Census, Sally and her husband (indexed Bolandis) are living in Diamond Springs, El Dorado County, California.
Although the date is not clear, it appears in 1907 she was receiving a widow's pension for her husband's service in the Civil War.
In the 1910 Census, Sally is in Diamond Springs, El Dorado County, California as a widow with her sons Joseph and Edwin and her Nephew Willis Solomon Freeman and his family. It is not clear if Willis was living there or visiting. In 1900 he was in Minnesota and in 1920 in North Dakota.
In the 1920 Census, Sally is living with her widowed son Edwin, in West Ione, Amador County, California.
At the time of her death in December 1929 she had been living in the County of San Joaquin, California, a little over 3 years.
