The following obit appeared in the August 22, 2010, Cleveland Plain Dealer:"Clara Allenik Frank (nee Nagel), age 92, beloved wife of the late Ben Allenick and Arthur Frank. Loving mother of David (Jutta) Allenick, Elaine (Joel) Wolfe and Linda (Robert-deceased) Mackey. Devoted grandmother of Bonnie (Greg) Schmidt, Brian Wolfe, Laurie (Daniel) Andy (Leslie) Wolfe, Michael (Lori) Allenick, Donald Barnes Jr., Jill (James) Smart, Harald (Val) Junkes and James (Crystal) Barnes. Great-grandmother of 15. Dear sister of Harry and the late Sam, Jerry, Saul, Abe and Herbert "Red"Nagel. Services will be held Monday, August 23, at 1 p.m., at the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Rd. Cleveland Hts. Interment Mt Olive Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. Wolfe, 5379 Chickadee Ln., Lyndhurst, Monday, following services, till 8 P.M., Tuesday, 2 - 5 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m. Friends who wish, may contribute to the Menorah Park, 27100 Cedar Rd., Beachwood, OH 44122."

The following obit appeared in the September 1, 2010, Cleveland Jewish News:"Clara Allenick Frank (nee Nagel), a merchandise manager at Giant Tiger, died Aug. 20 at age 92. A travel enthusiast, Mrs. Frank went to Israel with a group from Menorah Park Center for Senior Living when she was 86. In the article "Experiencing the trip of a (long) lifetime" (CJN, Oct. 14, 2005), she noted how much the country had changed since her first visit. A graduate of John Hay High School, Mrs. Frank lived in Florida for approximately 20 years. She enjoyed exercising and often walked five miles a day. Mrs. Frank was predeceased by her husbands Ben Allenick and Arthur Frank. She is survived by her daughters Elaine (Joel) Wolfe and Linda Mackey; son David Allenick; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and brother Harry Nagel. Contributions are suggested to Menorah Park."
