A former resident of Cleveland. Ben Allenick died on March 24 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. at the age of 69. He had moved to Florida six years ago. Mr. Allenick, a native of Cleveland, was purchasing agent for the Frankelite Co. for more than 10 years before retiring. Earlier, he owned and operated the Allenick Hardware Store on E. 130th and Kinsman Ave. for many years. He was a former member of Heights Jewish Center. Besides his wife, Clara (nee Nagel), he is survived by a son, David; two daughters, Elaine Wolfe and Linda
Barnes; nine grandchildren and two sisters. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association."
