The following obit appeared in the Aug 18, 2009, Cleveland Plain Dealer:"Saul Nagel, beloved husband of the late Esther; devoted father of Arlan (Barbara) and Murray (Eileen); cherished grandfather of Seth (Nicole), Sean (Katy), Carly, Danielle and Justin; loving great-grandfather of James, Caleb and Tobin; dear brother of Harry Nagel, Clara Frank and the following deceased: Abe, Sam, Red (Herbert) and Jerry. Services will be held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Hts., Monday, Aug. 17 at 1 p.m. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the residence of Arlan and Barbara Nagel, 2561 Lafayette Dr., University Hts., Immediately following interment Monday untill 9 P.M. and Tuesday 1-4 and 7-9 P.M. Contributions are suggested to Menorah Park Hospice."

The following obit appeared in the Aug 19, 2009, Cleveland Jewish Press:"Saul Nagel, who worked at Babin Building Center and Uncle Bill’s, died Aug. 16 at age 95. Mr. Nagel, a graduate of East Tech High School, lived in Florida for many years but returned to Cleveland to be with family. He was an avid golfer and a member of Forest City Hebrew Benevolent Association. Mr. Nagel was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Esther. He is survived by his sons Murray of Dallas, Texas, and Arlan; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Harry; and sister Clara Frank. Contributions are suggested to Menorah Park Hospice."
