Mrs. A. Everson, 72, Dies on Tuesday
Born in Norway; Lived Here for 62 Years; Funeral to be Friday Afternoon
Mrs. Albert Everson, 72 years old and a resident of this community for over sixty years, died Tuesday afternoon, March 21, after an illness of several months. Her husband preceded her in death four years ago.
Christine Sangsland was born in Christiensan, Norway, on April 1, 1872. When ten years old she came to America with her parents, settling in Hudson. She was married to Albert Everson at Regent, North Dakota, on August 31st, 1906. Mr. Evenson, before his death, was employed at the Omaha car shops here for many years.
Mrs. Everson was a member of the Bethel Lutheran church and her chief interests were in her home and church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Asmus of Bayport, Minn.; one son, Alfred of Hudson; and two brothers, Andrew Sangsland of Hudson and Sam Sangsland of Layton, Utah.
Her body will lay in state at the Jasper Funeral Home until Friday noon. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, Rev. J.H.T. Lee and Rev. Oscar Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Willow River Cemetery.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Albert Everson
The funeral services for Mrs. Albert Everson, 72, were held on Friday afternoon, March 24, at the Bethel Lutheran Church at 2 p.m., the Rev. J.H.T. Lee officiating. Burial was in the Willow River Cemetery. Pallbearers were Henry Olson, Lawrence Bonnes, Sig Borge, William Linder, Hobert Sween and Carl Cramer.
Mrs. Everson passed away on March 21 following a two month illness. She is survivied by two children, Albert of Hudson and a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Asmus (Lillian) of Bayport.
