Andrew Sangsland

The sad tidings recently reached the Sangsland brothers here, that their father, Andrew Sangsland, Sr., perished on February 14, by drowning, at his old home, Christiansand, Norway. A party were out at sea in a sailing boat, when a storm came up and Mr. Sangsland with a fellow, were blown overboard, and Mr. S. was unable to extricate himself. He was buried by relatives and friends near place of his birth. Deceased was about 70 years old. He went to Norway late last fall. His tragic death was a terrible shock to the relatives in this city.
