Mrs. Charles Heuer, 70, a resident of Hudson for the past ten years, died Sunday afternoon, March 30, at St. John's hospital, St. Paul.
Mrs. Heuer, whose maiden name was Ida Brunner, was born in Lakeland, Minn., Sept. 18, 1876. She was married to Charles Heuer at Lakeland on March 12, 1903, and moved to Morris, Minn., where they iived until 1919. They then noved to Pine City, Minn., and ten years ago they came to Hudson. Mrs. Heuer was an active worker in the Methodist church.
Besides her husband, Charles, she is survied by one daughter, Mrs. J.L. Van Horn of Morris, Minn.; four sisters, Miss Hulda Brunner of Lakeland, Mrs. Adoph Schaar of Lakeland, Mrs. Henry Hess of Hudson, and Mrs. Ewald Reichow of Lakeland; three brothers, Victor of Lakeland, Henry of North Hudson and Max of Stillwater; two granddaughters, Kay and Shirley Ann; and several nieces and nephews.
The body lay in state at the Jasper Funeral Home until 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, when it was taken to the Heuer residence on Orange street, where private services were held at 2 o'clock. Services were held at the Methodist church, at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. A. Lloyd Asp officiating. The pallbearers were Charles Dowling, Wm. Schulz, Albin Hanson, Charles Peterson and Melvin Engebretso. Interment was in Willow River Cemetery.
