A Pretty Hudson Wedding at Axt Home
One of Hudson's prettiest recent weddings took place at the home of Mrs. L. C. Axt, Saturday afternoon, September 14, at 5 o'clock p.m. when her daughter, Miss Anna M. Axt, was united in marriage to Mr. Charles H. Blewett, Rev. G. M. Tourtellot, officiating.
Miss Florence L. Blewett presided at the piano, and the hose was decorated in pink and white in a veru artisic and effective manner. The arch being chiefly composed of beautiful pink astors.
Mrs. Axt gave her daughter in marriage, the latter being handsomely attended by Miss C. E. Blewtt, bridesmaid. The bridegroom and best man, the latter honor having been assigned to Mr. C. R. Blewett, were attired in full dress.
The wedding party entered to the strains of the Lohengrin wedding march; the bride being attired in a beautiful gown of white voile, trimmed with lace, her tulle vweil reaching the hem of her gown, and she carried a large bouquet of bridal roses. The bridesmaid wore a gown of pink flowered voile and carried a handsome bouquet of pink roses. The bride's mother was attired in black silk.
Luncheon was served in four courses to about 30 guests. After October 15, Mr. Blewett and his bride will be at home to their friends in Minneapolis.
