Memorial services for George W. Bottolfson, 80, Becker, Minn., were Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the Becker Baptist Church. The Rev. Rob Olsen officiated.
He was born Aug. 19, 1925, in Polk County, to Oscar and Florence (Gibson) Bottolfson.
He served his country in the Army during WWII. He married Jean Evenson on July 9, 1954, in Pine City.
He worked as a fork lift operator for St. Paul Terminal Warehouse for 17 years, retiring in 1970. He has lived in the
Becker area since 1993.
He died Saturday, Nov. 19, at his home surrounded by his family.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; children, Georginc (Joe) Olson of Galesburg, Jeffrey of Becker and Lynette (Randy) Davis of Detroit Lakes; brothers, Howard (Gloria), Russell and Orlo, all from Star Prairie; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Gregory Owen; brothers and sisters,
Alice Brisson, Curtis, Leroy and Richard.
