been practice teachers at Glover school for six weeks, resumed their studies at
the River Falls Normal school on April 25.

Mr. and Mrs. Nels J. Jenson, announce the marriage of their daughter, Anne Katherine, to Mr. Willis Gibson Lester of Minneapolis. They were married on Saturday, January 20, in Minneapolis, where they will make their home.

Anna J. Lester, 80, a long-time resident of Hudson who had been living in
River Falls, died there Tuesday, January 9, after a long illness.
She was born in Hudson, the daughter of Nels O.J. and Gurina (Hallenger)
Jenson, and graduated from Hudson High School in the class of 1926.
In 1928 she graduated from River Falls Normal School (now UW-River Falls)
and taught in country schools near Hudson. In later years, she was a
proofreader for West Publishing Company in St. Paul.
She was married in 1940 to Willis Gibson Lester.
Survivors include her husband and three sisters, Mrs. Leila Christensen of
Wessington Springs, SD, Mrs. Laura Kinney of River Falls and Mrs. Jane
Rasmussen of New Richmond.
Preceeding her in death were he parents, two brothers, Olaf and John, and
three sisters, Helen Bethel, Janet Jenson, and Ruth Lund.
Her body was cremated.
