Death
Forrest “Foxy” Daniel Furr, of Leesburg, VA died on April 26, 2015 at Alder Hospice. Born on April 23, 1925 he was the son of the late Forrest and Lucy Furr and the last of eight siblings. He was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Brunswick, MD Lodge 1582 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 824, Winchester, VA. Mr. Furr was a Boston Red Socks Fan and played and managed in the Loudoun County League for years. He also had a love for race horses. Mr. Furr is survived by his wife Judy Furr of Leesburg, VA; son Mike Furr of Purcellville, VA; daughter Becky Baker and husband Jimbo of Berryville, VA; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Danny Furr and one granddaughter. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Purcellville, VA.
