Death
Edward Franklin Furr, 71, of Bolling Brook Farm, Upperville, died February 17 at Winchester Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Furr had worked at Bolling Brook for the pest 51 years. He Is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Furr; two daughters, Mrs. Douglas Carter of Philomont and Mrs. Louise Harris of Upperville; five sons, Edward of Upperville, Bolden stationed with the U.S. Army in France, George of Winchester, Eddie stationed with U. S. Army in Hawaii and Robert of Falls Church; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Leach of Warrenton, Mrs. Eppie Nalls of The Plains and Nannie Soaper of Marshall; and 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held February 22 at 2 p. m. at the Upperville Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Leslie Napier with interment at Leeds Cemetery, Hume. Friends may cll at the Wiltshire Funeral Home in Upperville until 12:30 p. m. Friday.The Fauquier Democrat, Warrenton, Virginia, February 21, 1963
