LINCON, Ill., Nov. 4-Miss Lucille Furr and Emil M. Lumpp, Jr., both of Lincoln, were married Saturday in St. Louis. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kelly of St. Louis were attendants. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Vernice Furr and the bridegrom is a a son of Emil Lumpp, Sr., of Lincoln. Mrs. Lumpp has been employed as a recreation leader and Mr. Lumpp is employed by the Lincoln Sand and Gravel Company.Death
LINCOLN--Lucille E. Lumpp, 66, of Lincoln, a former employee in the dietary department of Lincoln Developmental Center, died at 10:27 p.m. Tuesay (Feb. 24, 1987) at Sunshine Meadow Health Care Center, Lincoln. Her funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Church, Lincoln, the Rev. Norman Goodman officiation. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Kerrigan Funeral Home, Lincoln, where the rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m.Mrs. Lumpp was born June 8, 1920 at Lincoln, a daughter of Earl and Vernese Tutter Furr. She married Emil M. Lumpp on Nov. 4, 1939, at St. Louis. He survives. Other survivors include her mother, Vernese Pollock, Lincoln; one son, Michael L., Lincoln; one daughter, Merilyn Wheat, Lincoln; one sister, Coletta Swingle, Lincoln, and four granddaughters. Her father and two sisters preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Sunshine Meadow Health Care Center.
