Death
Word was received Sunday of the sudden death of Mrs. James Vece of Chicago. The former Rose Ellen Furr was born in Lincoln June 1, 1915, and attended St. Patrick’s school. She was married to James Vece in Chicago April 1, 1940, and he preceded her in death in 1965. Her father, a sister, and son also preceded her. Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Vernese Pollock, and stepfather, Loren Pollock, both of Lincoln; a daughter, Mrs. Gene Gallo, and a grandson, both of Oak Park; and two sisters, Mrs. Michael Lumpp and Mrs. John Single, both of Lincoln. Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at Oak Park.Endnotes
