Was appointed guardian of his daughter's (Rebecca) children after she and her husband died.

Per Dorothy McDaniel the 1850 Moore County census lists the following who may be children of Leonard II:

1. Leonard III (1818-1860) m. Luise ??? (1831-1853)
son: Riley Furr (1853-2/29/1857)
Both buried on the Milton or Dr. Frank Moore cemetery in Moore County.
2. Catherine (b. 1828) m. Turner Sowell
sons: Albert and Alexander
3. Upshur m. Rebecca ???
children: Landy J., Emely A., Sara M., John R., William B., and Marcy E.
4. Nancy m. Isham Wallace

Note: these may the children of Joseph Furr (haven't been able to identify his lineage).
