Death
Funeral services for Richard Furr, 40, of West End were held this afternoon at West End Methodist Church. Burial was in West End Cemetery with military rites conducted by an Army detail from Fort Bragg. Furr died Sunday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Washington, D. C., after a brief illness. He was a barber, a native of Moore County and an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are three daughters, Misses Donna, Cynthia and Debra Furr, all of Durham; four sisters, Mrs. Harlan Crabtree of Aberdeen, Mrs. Elbert Harris of West End, Mrs. H. C. Sheffield of Newport News, Va., and Mrs. Charlie Maness of Asheboro; and four brothers, Reid Furr of West End, Archie Furr of Hamlet, Robert Furr and Sanford and Neill Furr of Troy.Soc Sec No
