Death
SANFORD — Robert Paul Furr, 48, died Monday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rogers Memorial Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Garland Foushee and the Rev. Roy Morris. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery. He is survived by his wife. Mrs. Kathleen Sawyer Furr; one son, Larry Furr, of Sanford; three daughters, Mrs. Brenda Kelly, of Sanford, and Kay and Susan Furr, both of the home; three brothers, Archie Furr, of Hamlet, Neil Furr, of Troy, and Reid Furr, of West End; four sisters, Mrs. Betty Sheffield, of Newport News, Va., Mrs. Helen Maness, of Asheboro, Mrs. Marest Harris, of West End, and Edna Crabtree, of Aberdeen, and three grandchildren.The News and Observer, Raleigh, North Carolina, October 11, 1966
