ASHEBORO — Helen Florence Furr Maness, 72, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 20, at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Published in the News Record on 10/19/2007.Helen Florence Furr Maness, age 72, of 511 Peachtree St., Asheboro died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Maness was a native of Moore County, a homemaker and a member of Asheboro Holiness Missionary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie E. Maness, daughter, Lisa M. Baker and granddaughter, April C. Brady. She is survived by two daughters: Faye M. Baker of Asheboro, NC, Linda M. Harris of Asheboro, NC and three sons: Charlie Glen Maness of Hamlet, NC, Hal E. Maness of Slidell, LA, Anthony Tony Maness of Asheboro, NC; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters: Betty Harrison of Newport News, VA, Margaret Harris of West End, NC. The family will receive friends Friday, October 19, 2007 from 7 to 9 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Maxey and Rev. Richard Hill officiating. Burial will be in Smyrna Grove Community Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Asheboro Holiness Missionary Building Fund, 1145 Foxfire Rd., Asheboro, NC 27205.
