Death
N. CHARLESTON - Jimmy Ray Furr, 68, of North Charleston, passed away November 17, 2010. Born in Lancaster, SC, he was the son of the late Hurley and Margie Flowers Furr and husband to Leona Stayton Furr. Mr. Furr was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a truck driver and trucking instructor for forty eight years. Mr. Furr is survived by, his wife, Leona Furr of the home; four daughters, Carol Horner of Virginia, Lisa Nielsen of Oregon, DeRae Gunter (John) of Ladson and Tammy Holifield (David) of Summerville; one son, David Lee Furr of Cottageville; two brothers, Jack and Steve Furr both of Summerville; one sister, Selah Furr of Summerville; ten grandchildren, Tracy Alan Sineath, Trevor Sineath, Taylor Sineath, Tannor Sineath, Sam Nielsen, Amber Holifield, Courtney Holifield, Becki Furr, John M. Gunter and Abby Gunter; and four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Riley, Lila and Gabrielle Sineath.
