Death
Margie Lee Flowers Furr of Summerville, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at a local hospital. The relatives and friends of Margie Lee Flowers Furr are invited to attend her funeral service Sunday, September 4, 2005, 2 p.m. at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Park. Friends may call Saturday, September 3, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Born July 15, 1915 in Orangeburg, SC and raised in Danville, VA. She was the daughter of the late L.G. Flowres and Margaret Eulalia Johnson Flowers. She was a homemaker and mother of nine children. Survivors include one daughter, Selah Furr of Summerville; four sons, Hurley Furr, Jr. of Earhardt, SC, Jack A. Furr of Summerville, Jimmy R. Furr of Cottageville, SC, Steve R. Furr of Simpsonville, SC. Mrs. Furr was predeceased by her husband, Hurley Furr, Sr. who passed away in 1985; two sons, David W. Furr in 2001, Billy Furr in 1939; two daughters, Margie Lynn Furr Blythe in March 2005, and Helen Lee Furr Hall in August 2005.
