Death
ALBEMARLE, March 23. — Mrs. Nancy Lambert Furr, 82, died late Saturday afternoon at her home on Albemarle, route 3, from influenza, after an illness of 10 days. Funeral will be held Monday morning at 11 o’clock at Bear Creek Baptist church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Furr was the widow of Ransome Furr, Jr., and leaves eight children; Walter Furr, Retha C. Furr, Mrs. W. H. Whitley, Mrs. C. L. Staton, Mrs. J. B. Whitley, Mrs. Paul Bowers and Miss Alemaine Furr, all of Stanley county, and Mrs. R. C. Smith, of Concord. She is also survived by one brother, John Lambert, of Asheboro.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, March 24, 1941
