Death
Mrs. A. J. (Lela) Holder Sr., of Florence, died Wednesday night in Hinds General Hospital following a three week illness. A native of Brookhaven, she had made her home in Plain Community for the past six years. She was a member of Richland Baptist Church. Funeral services for Mrs. Holder will be conducted at two o'clock Friday from the Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Austin Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband, A. J. Holder Sr., of Plain; one daughter, Miss Barbara Ann Holder of Pearl; one sister, Mrs. Ola Dear, of Star; six sons, Andrew J. Holder Jr.. of Jackson, William J. Holder, of Milpatis, Calif,. Charles R. Holder, of Plain, David L. Holder, of Columbia, S.C,. Richard R. Holder, Frank E. Holder, both of Jackson; one brother, John Furr, of Pascagoula, thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Clarion Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, 3 March, 1972
