Death
NEW BERN - David Lee Holder, 78, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at CarolinaEast Medical Center. He was a member of the Columbia, S.C., Fire Dept. for 25 years and the Lexington County Sheriffs Department for 20 years. He is survived by his daughter, Christy McCraight of Havelock; brothers Richard Holder and Frank Holder, both of Mississippi; sister, Barbara Holder of Texas; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Havelock. Arrangements are by Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory.Published in Sun Journal from Nov. 17 to Nov. 20, 2009
