Death
Funeral services for Mrs. Ollie Minton, 77, resident of the Plain Community, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday from Wright and Ferguson Chapel, with Rev. Campbell, pastor of Richland Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Minton died early Monday night at our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, La, following a short illness. She was a native of Lincoln County, and had lived in the Plain Community for the past 20 years. She was a member of the Richland Baptist Church. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Nellie Mansuetti, Roseville, California Mrs. Mildred LaMoine, Mrs. Ailene Neely, and Mrs. Dorothy Lavurn Duncan, all of Baton Rouge; one son, James Nolan Minton, Florence; two sisters, Mrs. Ola Dear, Jackson, and Mrs. Lela Holder, Florence, and one brother, John Henry Furr, Pascagoula.Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, October 29, 1969
