Death
Albemarle. — Mrs. Kansas Arebell Carriker, 66, of Norwood died at the home of her son, Homer Carriker of Norwood, early Wednesday morning following an illness of one week with paralysis. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 o'clock at Bear Creek Baptist Church, in Almond Township. Mrs. Carriker, wife of the late William A. Carriker, is survived by five sons, Ellis and Homer Carriker of Norwood, Asyria Carriker of Badin, and Claudie Felton Carriker, both of Albemarle, Route 3; three brothers, Adam, M. C. and Clarence Furr, and two sisters, Mrs. Will Thomas and Mrs. R. L. Barbee, all of Albemarle, Route 3.The News and Observer, Raleigh, North Carolina, March 13, 1941
